our
story
Quality, human connection is at the heart of what we do
At Lost Language, we’re passionate about helping people meet new people and we know the impact that genuine, social relationships have on our health.
Sure, we’re avid sweat bathers who plan our travel around sauna and winter dips in English sea pools. But our decision to build Lost Language comes from our shared desire to bring people together.

Andrew co-founded Friday Morning Swim Club with his best friend Nicole in 2021. And together they witnessed thousands of folks put down their phones to jump in Lake Michigan every Friday morning. Strangers became friends and friendship became routine. And it was both striking and uncomplicated.
Sarah found a home in Chicago through the city’s dance and fitness communities. Making art with others helped shape her understanding of herself and her relationships. It gave her the confidence to teach and support others as a strength and conditioning coach. She’s worked with people throughout her life, building moments that hold great meaning.

Together, we’ve learned that good people are at the heart of great experiences
So we built a warm place where everyone can be well and live simply, with the hope that Lost Language becomes a part of your routine and your new home for slow time.
